Trent Alexander-Arnold Committed to Real Madrid Despite Winter Transfer Rumors

According to Football Insider, sources close to Real Madrid have confirmed that the club has no intention of considering a departure for Trent Alexander-Arnold during the winter transfer window. The English right-back is reportedly fully "determined" to fight for his place in the starting lineup despite playing a somewhat secondary role under Jose Mourinho since the start of the campaign.

Having joined in the summer of 2025 and making 43 official appearances for Los Blancos, Alexander-Arnold believes that given the length and intensity of the season, it is only a matter of time before he earns more regular minutes. Consequently, a mid-season return to Liverpool is off the table, forcing the Reds to wait until next summer if they wish to pursue him. Competition for his spot remains fierce: alongside Dutch full-back Denzel Dumfries, Federico Valverde has increasingly cemented his place on the right side of the defense, presenting the biggest hurdle to Alexander-Arnold's regular playing time.
