Bruno Fernandes Denies Rift with Manchester United Manager Michael Carrick
Following a tense 3-2 victory over Roma in the fourth round of the Champions League, 29-year-old Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes sharply addressed recent media speculation regarding an alleged conflict with manager Michael Carrick. Fernandes dismissed the reports as lies, clarifying that no such clearing-the-air meetings ever took place.
Speaking to Amazon Prime, the playmaker unhesitatingly defended the coach's recent controversial decisions: "The coach decided to bench me because I was playing badly, and that's fair. Everyone considered it a punishment for my words, and if so, it was justified. The coach makes decisions. I have to accept them and move on. It doesn't change my trust in the coach."
