Giuseppe Marotta Denies Rumors Linking Mauro Icardi with a Return to Inter Milan
Inter Milan President Giuseppe Marotta has firmly shut down speculation regarding a potential return for Mauro Icardi. Speaking to Sky Sport, the club president clarified that the 33-year-old Argentine striker—who became a free agent after leaving Galatasaray on June 30—is not part of the Nerazzurri's plans.
"Icardi hasn't been offered to us. Mauro gave a lot to Inter, but he is not in our plans, nor is signing a fifth striker," Marotta stated. "We have four. It just so happened that we were missing three at the same time."
