Alejandro Balde Facing Uncertain Future at Barcelona as Club Eyes Andrea Cambiaso

Alejandro Balde's future at Barcelona appears increasingly uncertain, with reports from Sport citing journalist Matteo Moretto that the left-back is beginning to explore a potential departure during the winter transfer window. Despite featuring in the last two league matches, Balde recognizes he has slipped down the pecking order, having been overtaken by academy youngster Brian Fariñas in the starting lineup against Deportivo Alaves.

In response, Barcelona have reportedly begun evaluating contingency plans, with Esport3 indicating that the Blaugrana are monitoring Juventus versatile defender Andrea Cambiaso as a potential replacement who can operate on both flanks. The club is also considering a possible swap deal that would send Balde to Turin. Cambiaso's current contract with Juventus runs until June 2029.
