Artem Dovbyk Set for January Departure from Bologna Amid Lack of Playing Time
Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk has struggled to secure a regular role at Bologna, logging just 98 minutes of action since arriving on loan from Roma last summer. The 29-year-old forward previously found opportunities limited in the capital under manager Gian Piero Gasperini, and his situation has not improved in his latest loan spell.
According to CalcioMercato.it, the most likely outcome will see Dovbyk return to Roma during the January transfer window. With his contract at the Stadio Olimpico running until June 2029, the Giallorossi plan to immediately send the former Girona frontman out on another loan deal to a club where he can enjoy a more prominent first-team role.
